Dear Neighbor,

As a lifelong resident of Tustin Unified and a proud parent whose entire family has thrived within our district, I am honored to seek your support as Governing Board Member. With over 25 years of dedicated leadership and service in various volunteer capacities across Tustin Unified, I am uniquely qualified to advocate for our community’s educational needs.

My commitment is grounded in the fundamentals of education: ensuring strong foundational skills, practicing conservative fiscal management, and promoting accountability throughout our schools, administrators, and boards. I pledge to provide responsible, conservative leadership in budget decisions, prioritizing efficient spending to maximize resources.

I firmly believe in preparing our students not just for college, but for successful careers. I advocate for a robust curriculum that emphasizes effective communication, critical thinking, rigorous math and science education, integrated technology, and economic competitiveness. Furthermore, I recognize the invaluable role of sports teams and athletic activities in developing young people’s character.

As a retired Hi-Tech Healthcare Executive, my financial acumen ensures TUSD’s responsible use of taxpayer dollars, underpinned by transparency and accountability. My 25+ years of district wide experience uniquely position me to hit the ground running on day one, working tirelessly to enhance student success and community engagement.
